Trying on a New Hat

In 2023, I decided to pause writing my next children’s book, which I had already outlined, and I was ready to start the writing process. You might wonder what could take me away from my passion for writing for children. I wanted to try a new adventure of being a playwright. My book, Chick Heather’s New Neighborhood, New Friends, seemed like a good candidate to convert to a play for children. I added music and dancing but have another character to add to the forest, and then it will be ready for an introduction to children.
